Dissection Case Studies - Horse Stories

**Outline**

Each Thursday at 20.00 CET we'll host a 90 minutes webinar. We'll start of with three interesting case studies that all have 

a unique story to tell from their life 'inside-out'. We take you through their live as well as their dissection findings and what we can learn from this and how we could possibly manage various complications with proper management and training exercises.

June 4th 2020 at 20.00 CET - Samantha 

Topics: Growth plates and Ossified Cartilage; Fetlock & Vagina Fibrosa issues; Hip joint problems

Samantha was neglected as a youngster. The owner took her in to help her and hopefully train her for dressage competitions. She became healthy for a short period time. After an in-hand show she came lame. After two years of on-off lameness she was diagnosed with ossified cartilage. 

What lessons can we learn from her? In this webinar we'll share the life of Samantha, what we found during her dissection and what we came across during preparation of the skeleton. We will also give some tips on how to possibly manage these conditions in your horse. 

June 11th 2020 at 20.00 CET -Sanneke

Sanneke was a Fjord horse harness pony. She competed in a lot of marathons. However, Sanneke always struggled 

with some things. For example, she could never really been ridden. Her dissection told us why. 

In this webinar we'll share the life of Sanneke, what we found during her dissection and what we came across during preparation of the skeleton. We will also give some tips on how to possibly manage these conditions in your horse.  

June 18th 2020 at 20.00 CET - Whisper

Whisper was a rehab horse. He was ready for sale and the 

owner wanted to film him for selling when he became an awful accident.He never fully recovered from this accident.

During the dissection, we learned why.  And after the preparation of his skeleton, we learned just more.
